The Ship - Carnival Imagination

I'm going to start adding some information about the ship as I remember and find it.

I've been on this ship countless times and know it like the back of my hand.

My best friend worked on it for 3 years I spent many vacations with her and got to see so much of the Caribbean.

For those of you on the waitlist I want you to know this there is HOPE

The ships capacity states :

Capacity:
2056 passengers (lower berths)
2634 passengers (all berths)
Crew: 920

That includes the entire ship. If all 4 people rooms are fully facilitated then its possible to have 2,500 easily on the ship at one time.

4 Berth rooms Generally are the 1A and 4A 4B cabin category but some other cabins also haev 4 berth capacity they are very cramped: They contain upper and lower berths and minimal space for luggage and storage of suitcases etc....Not to mention 4 people sharing one bathroom it can be extremely cramped but as you don't spend a great deal of time in the room I can not see why Rose Tours would find it a big deal to let 4 people share a room. Or then again maybe it all comes down to the $$$$$$. I'm just SAYIN....

Some Photos of the other room types:

Penthouse Suite

5A 6A 6B 6C 6D Cabin Category rooms

4A 4B 4C 4D 4E Cabin Categroy rooms

Transportation in Miami

Im sure you all have the same question? Which is cheaper Shuttle bus or taxi from Miami Airport to the Hotel or from the Hotel to Miami Port to get on the cruise ship well hopefully this will help you out.

The SuperShuttle service provides door-to-door transportation between Miami International Airport and Greater Miami. It costs $9 per person to get to Miami and $11 to ride to South Beach and the Art Deco District. Phone Miami Reservations (305) 871-2000 - Main Reservation number: (305) 871-8210.

A Taxi ride from the airport to Downtown Miami will cost you between $18 - $25. Call Yellow Cabs
(305) 444-4444

From Downtown Miami to Miami Port where the cruise leaves from cost ranges from $25 to $32.

So depending on how many people you have sometimes taxi is a cheaper and more efficient option.
